Job summary

Chick-fil-A Pavilions North in San Antonio is hiring a full-time kitchen prep team member. You will prepare ingredients, stock the kitchen, and support service readiness with a focus on cleanliness and food safety.

No restaurant experience is required as training will be provided. As the restaurant grows, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and leadership roles within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Full time availability to serve guests
• Able to work between 10am and 8pm
• Available to work 5 days per week, including Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Work independently or with assistance to complete prep and order lists while coordinating with other restaurant leaders
• Prepare ingredients and menu-items throughout the day (washing, cutting, slicing, and portioning food items)
• Complete daily prep lists to ensure the kitchen is stocked and ready for service at all times
• Complete opening or closing tasks as assigned for other kitchen areas as needed
• Prepare bulk produce, proteins, and other ingredients according to Chick-fil-A procedures and food safety standards
• Label, date, and properly store all prepared foods; maintain a clean, organized prep area and follow all food safety guidelines
• Restock ingredients and supplies so kitchen stations can operate smoothly during busy periods
• Assist the kitchen team during peak times by supporting stations such as fries, boards, or assembling when needed
• Help with dish washing, organizing inventory, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any issues to Leadership
• Follow Chick-fil-A standards and procedures at all times
