Job summary

Heinen’s, Inc. is hiring a Retail Professional to support our Diamond Difference standards at our Bainbridge location. You will prepare a variety of foods, assemble sandwiches and trays, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role demands strong communication, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to work a non-traditional five-day schedule including weekends and evenings. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Be production driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Prepare a variety of foods, such as sandwiches, wraps, trays, according to customers’ orders following approved procedures.
• Wash, peel, and cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
• Follow Heinen’s standards for panning, packaging, and merchandising.
• Acquired knowledge of Kitchen Department and food safety standards.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks, including stocking and merchandising.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
