Job summary

Warehouse BBQ is seeking a Kitchen Prep & Assistant in a part-time role to support a busy back-of-house. You will prep ingredients, assist with cooking tasks, and help maintain clean, organized stations in a high-volume kitchen.

Preferred kitchen experience, reliability, and a can-do attitude are valued. This role offers a supportive, family-owned environment with opportunities to grow within our busy operation in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Must follow prep list and food safety standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Remove feathers from raw chicken wings
• Peel membrane off ribs and trim briskets
• Pull smoked pork and chicken
• Debone smoked turkey and chop for service
• Peel & cut potatoes, onions, and peppers
• Sauté onions and peppers to smoky perfection
• Boil noodles for our famous smoked mac & cheese
• Wash dishes and keep prep stations clean and organized
• Follow a prep list, manage time, and maintain food safety standards
• Jump in wherever needed—team sport

We7re known for scratch-made eats and hand-trimmed meats—and now we need a back-of-house MVP to keep the engine running. This position is for someone who lives to prep, clean, cut, peel, and hustle hard behind the scenes.

What You7ll Be Doing:

• Remove feathers from raw chicken wings
