Kitchen Porter, The Inn On Woodlake

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

If you enjoy a customer service facing role with the added challenge of kitchen duties, then this position at the prestigious Inn on Woodlake in Kohler, WI is the right opportunity for you.

Specific job responsibilities:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, and other cooking utensils, then place them in racks to send through the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes, carry them to the cook’s line and storage areas, and rewash soiled dishes before delivery.
• Change dishwater in the dish machine every hour.
• Remove trash and dispose of it properly.
• Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep and mop floors regularly.
• Clean up trash around the exterior of the restaurant and near the garbage dumpster.
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
• Notify the manager if the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Prepare salad bar items, ensuring freshness and maintaining small condiments with fresh contents.
• Ensure refrigeration of appropriate items immediately.

Part-time positions are available with shifts between 5 am and 12 pm, on weekdays and weekends.

Skills/Requirements

• Some experience in food preparation in a restaurant, kitchen, or dining area.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of food preparation methods, kitchen equipment, and materials used in food prep work.

The hourly wage for this position is $20.00. The actual rate offered may vary based on experience, education, and location.
