Kitchen Porter, Carriage House

If you enjoy a customer service facing role with the addedchallenge of kitchen duties then this position at the prestigious Carriage House in Kohler, WI is the right opportunity for you.

Specific job responsibilities:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
  
• Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.
  
• Change dishwater in dish machine every hour.
  
• Trash removal.
  
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
  
• Sweep/mop floors.
  
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster.
  
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed.
  
• Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
  
• Prepares salad bar items .Ensures freshness of all items; maintains small condiments with fresh contents.
  
• Ensures refrigeration of appropriate items immediately.
  

There are part time positions available with shifts between 3 pm and 8 pm, weekdays and weekends

Skills/Requirements

• Someexperience in the food preparation field in a restaurant, kitchen ordining area.
  
• Atleast 18 years of age.
  
• Knowledgeof food preparation methods and operations, of kitchen equipment andmaterials used in food prep work.

The hourly range for this position is $18.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
