Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking a Kitchen Porter to keep our kitchen spotless, safe and ready for action. You’ll wash dishes, maintain clean floors and surfaces, and support the team with basic tasks.

We offer training, a friendly, hybrid hospitality environment, and opportunities to grow within the company. Starting salary is determined fairly based on role and proficiency, with an emphasis on consistency across our global properties.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we’ll train you.
• Some experience in cleaning or a support role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines.
• Make sure all kitchen areas stay spotless, including storage and prep spaces.
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock.
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow.
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP.
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly.
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away.
