Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Kitchen Packaging Specialist in Wilder, VT to prepare products for packaging and package finished items from the Production team. You will print pricing, maintain packaging inventories, and ensure accurate labeling for Prepared Foods.

Responsibilities include weighing and wrapping products, rotating stock, communicating with the Production Manager, and maintaining sanitary conditions.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Kitchen or Restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent follow through.
• Wishing to hold self and others accountable.

Responsibilities

• Weighs, wraps, or packages finished food products, and affixes stickers showing price and weight
• Ensures rotation of first made product is sent first to outlets
• Communicates information on product level to the Production Manager
• Prices product and makes price changes in accordance with standard procedures to reflect cost of goods and margin requirements
• May prepare some recipes as needed
• Cleans assigned areas to maintain safe and sanitary conditions
• Cleans shelves, bins, tables, coolers and floor on a regularly scheduled basis
• Washes hands frequently and uses flexible gloves when in direct contact with food
• Notifies Production Manager about missing tags and additional PLU needs
• Maintains high in-stock levels without excessive back stock
• May re-order product from suppliers based on available space and inventory on hand
• Adhere to all Co-op policies and procedures including the Employee Code of Conduct
• Participate in department meetings and complete all required trainings for the purpose of maintaining Co-op standards
• All other duties as assigned
