Job summary

Tandem Foods is expanding operations at our Omega facility with a new SL6 line and is building out a team across shifts. The Kitchen Operator will safely operate batch mixers, kettles and other kitchen equipment, ensuring quality and food safety standards are met while sanitation and daily production tasks are completed.

This role requires adherence to GMPs/BRC standards and diligent maintenance of a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Operate batch mixers, batch kettles, and other kitchen processing equipment.
• Follow GMPs and BRC food safety requirements.
• Perform routine sanitation of equipment and area.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment per plant standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate kitchen processing equipment to meet production targets.
• Maximize uptime and minimize scrap, rework, and interruptions.
• Accurately weigh and prepare dry ingredients per production specs.
• Shovel product and transport ingredients and materials as needed.
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure standards are met.
