Job summary

DoorDash's DashMart Kitchens (DMK) in Salt Lake City is seeking a Kitchen Operations Associate to prepare meals to standard, maintain kitchen and warehouse organization, and support order fulfillment within a shared facility.

You will handle meal prep, ensure food safety and quality, follow cleanliness guidelines, and assist with light operational tasks. This role offers AM/PM/Overnight shifts, with opportunities for pay increases and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food service or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated areas.
• Willingness to complete a Food Handler's Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to brand and food safety standards.
• Ensure meals meet quality, accuracy, and presentation standards before handoff.
• Follow all food safety, cleanliness, and dress code guidelines.
• Maintain organized storage areas (dry, refrigerated, frozen).
• Follow cleanliness and sanitation standards across shared workspaces.
• Support inventory organization and FIFO.
• Collaborate with DashMart Operations Associates to maintain a cohesive site.
• Assist with light operational tasks to support facility success.
• Uphold a 'One Team' mindset for a positive experience for all team members and customers.
