Are you an experienced Kitchen Manager looking for a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic leader to join our team and help create a positive work atmosphere. Our kitchen is a scratch kitchen, meaning we make all of our food from scratch. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food and the excellence of our service. Description: The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations at our restaurant in Schaumburg, Illinois. This includes managing staff, training new employees, creating menus, controlling food costs and labor costs, scheduling shifts, ensuring health and safety standards are met, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment and more. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise kitchen staff including hiring, training, scheduling shifts, and evaluating performance
  • Create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients while staying within budget
  • Monitor food costs to ensure they remain within budget
  • Control labor costs by scheduling shifts efficiently
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Maintain equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
  • Lead by example with enthusiasm and positivity

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting

Benefits/Salary:

$60k-$65k per year (Bonus up to 15%)

Employment Type: Full-Time Work Hours: 40 hours/week
