Job summary

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee back-of-house operations, drive food quality and safety, and lead a winning team in a fast-paced environment.

As a hands-on leader, you will train and develop BOH staff, manage inventory and costs, maintain cleanliness, and partner with restaurant leadership to deliver a great guest experience every shift, with on-the-job culinary training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of kitchen leadership or restaurant management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, quality, and consistency.
• Train, coach, and develop BOH team members, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, manage inventory and food costs, maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment, and partner with restaurant leadership to deliver a great guest experience every shift.
