DraftKings Sports & Social Troy is recruiting a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily culinary operations at the Troy, MI venue. You will manage staffing, uphold sanitation and quality standards, and ensure accurate costing and inventory control.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years supervising kitchen staff in high-volume settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. This role requires adherence to health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; culinary arts courses or related degree preferred.
• 2–4 years experience supervising and/or managing kitchen staff in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong cooking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent people management, communication and listening skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Flexible and adaptable to change; strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Control day-to-day culinary operations within company policies and staffing levels.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards.
• Maintain costing and documentation of dishes and inventory procedures.
• Establish inventory procedures and determine min/max stock levels for food and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure safe storage of food and beverage products and minimize waste and pilferage.
• Ensure equipment is operational and kitchen areas meet sanitation standards.
• Resolve staff conflicts and customer service issues efficiently; lead during heavy shifts.
