Job summary

Casey's General Stores Inc. in Chamberlain, SD seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team and partner with the Store Manager to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

You'll train Team Members, guide daily operations in prepared foods and dispensed beverages, and oversee inventory while upholding food safety standards. You will influence productivity and profitability, model Casey's CARES values, and support colleagues with hands-on leadership and devotion to quality

Overview

As a Kitchen Manager,you’llbe a hands-on leader and a key member of thestoreleadership team. Working closely with the Store Manager,you’lltrain, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members to deliveran exceptionalguest experience. WhatYou’llDo as a Kitchen Manager:

• Actively train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members, delegate tasks effectively, and coach for success.
• Underthesupervision of the Store Manager,manage and influence operational activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverages tooptimizeperformance.
• Partner with the Store Manager tobe accountable for all kitchen activities, maintaining 5S standards,and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Oversee kitchen inventory andmaintainaccuratestock levels.
• Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, keeping the Store Manager informed.
• Model and coach to Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service
• Proficiently perform Store Team Member duties when needed.

Compensation:

Starting pay range: $15.50 - $17.80

Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factorsimpactingpay include local prevailing wages and internal equity.

This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses based on kitchen performance.

Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
