Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $20.00/hr

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for assisting the store manager in maintaining a positive environment, providing fast, efficient, and friendly service to ensure a TOTAL QUALITY EXPERIENCE for both customers and team members. Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, food preparation, staff management, inventory control, and ensuring food safety and quality standards.

Shifts and Schedule: Flexible shifts available. This is an HOURLY POSITION.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
  • Complete financial and personnel/payroll administrative duties accurately and on time.
  • Ensure daily and nightly reports are done correctly and timely.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas, complying with all legal and company standards.
  • Maintain high-quality food preparation and service.
  • Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness and appearance standards.
  • Estimate food and beverage costs, work with corporate staff for provisioning, and supervise portion control to minimize waste.
  • Order supplies, schedule deliveries, and manage inventory.
  • Must be ServSafe certified and uphold all ServSafe guidelines.
  • Ensure positive guest service, respond to complaints, and resolve issues to promote customer satisfaction.
  • Implement security procedures to protect employees, guests, and assets.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, complete accident reports if needed.
  • Manage shifts, including decision-making, scheduling, and planning, while upholding standards.
  • Investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints.
  • Adhere to airport and landlord policies.
  • Provide operational guidance to employees, conduct interviews, hire, train, and develop staff, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Maintain staffing plans and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
