Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Kitchen Manager for an upscale-casual restaurant featuring a wood-fired grill and rustic, scratch-made cuisine. You will oversee a kitchen team of up to 30 and ensure culinary excellence, sanitation, and vendor relations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, recipe accuracy, and strong cost control, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive culinary experience in full-service restaurants.
• 2+ years of kitchen oversight (Kitchen Manager, Exec Sous Chef, or Chef de Cuisine).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
• Flexible schedule (AM/PM shifts, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, and elevated guest experiences.
• Provide hands-on leadership across food preparation, execution, and service standards.
• Participate in par management, purchasing, ordering, inventories, food cost control and scheduling.
• Train, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary professionals.
• Adhere to established recipes and menus.
