The Kitchen Manager is responsible for ensuring and maintaining the daily operations of the designated location. This is a full-time position (generally 8 hours daily, Monday-Friday).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete other duties or administrative requests as assigned by SLA leaders.
• Ensure resources are in place, including staffing and supplies.
• Implement functions such as food quality, production, planning, purchasing, and facility maintenance.
• Work with leaders on in-unit marketing strategies.
• Maintain food and sanitation standards, uphold ServSafe standards, and comply with child nutrition regulations, laws, and SLA policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, cleanliness, and kitchen maintenance techniques.
• Submit orders for food, supplies, and inventory management.
• Track attendance and ensure team members follow schedules, clocking in and out appropriately.
• Plan, oversee, and participate in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Manage payment accuracy, cash flow, and deposits.
