Job Description

The Oxford Hills School District is accepting applications for the position of Food Service Kitchen Manager at The Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, South Paris, ME.

Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School serves approximately 1100 students in grades 9-12. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with students, employ effective teaching practices, and work collaboratively.

This is a Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week position.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Previous experience in food service preferred
• Supervision experience preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Ability to apply technology to the performance responsibilities

Reports To:

The Food Service Director

Performance Responsibilities:

• Support the district’s mission and goals
• Oversee the use of the kitchen by school staff and community members
• Approve and forward food service expenditure warrants to the Central Office
• Take inventories and ensure proper food security and storage, monitor for waste
• Prepare and send supply orders and other reports
• Assign and supervise Food Service Assistants
• Oversee kitchen use by all staff and community members
• Wash serving utensils, pans, and trays
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director
