Job description

Members of the kitchen leadership team are responsible for:

  • Always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements.
  • Coaching the behaviors of all team members working in the kitchen on:

Sense of Urgency, Attention to detail, Execution of systems, Maintaining a clean environment, and Promoting food safety.

As a Restaurant Leader, you will:

  • Demonstrate passion for the business and manage overall operations.
  • Train, develop, and recognize top talent.
  • Manage daily activities to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Prioritize food quality and safety.
  • Adapt to multiple demands and shifting priorities.

Behavior Characteristics:

  • Work at least forty hours per week.
  • Allocate time for planning and communication.
  • Communicate goals effectively to team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation through critical thinking and leadership.
  • Coach, give direction, and nurture relationships with team members.
  • Connect with a multicultural team.
  • Align hiring, training, and evaluation with organizational vision and goals.
  • Lead the Kitchen team passionately and enthusiastically.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and perform end-of-month counts.
  • Maintain accurate transfer logs and a LEAN production environment.
  • Coach and evaluate kitchen team members.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance and cleaning are scheduled and performed.
