The Opportunity

As Kitchen Leader, you will learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You are responsible for ensuring our food is delicious, ordering food, and training future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader ensures the quality and safety of Chipotle’s food daily. They maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment functioning. They serve as role models, promote teamwork, and create a great customer experience. The role involves multitasking, achieving station goals, and supporting teammates.

What You’ll Do

• Follow policies, ensure food quality, and prep food accordingly
• Monitor inventory and food waste, resolve quality issues
• Support team dynamics between back and front of house
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation
• Ensure equipment is functional and repaired promptly
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory procedures
