Position Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and dependable Kitchen Lead/Cashier/Expo to join our team! This hybrid role is crucial in helping guests navigate our seafood-focused menu, processing orders, stocking supplies, keeping the front area clean, and ensuring dishes are properly prepared and expedited for service. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm, welcoming attitude.
- Help guests understand the menu and make recommendations with confidence.
- Accurately take and process orders using the POS system.
- Stock front-of-house supplies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Serve as the link between the kitchen and guests, checking orders for accuracy and quality before they go out.
- Communicate clearly and quickly with kitchen staff and other team members.
- Maintain a high sense of urgency during busy shifts.
- Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier, expo, or in customer service (restaurant experience preferred).
- Must have strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to learn the menu thoroughly and speak confidently about dishes and ingredients.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Bilingual candidates are a plus!
