Job Summary

As a GetGo Kitchen Lead, you will exceed customer and Team Member needs and expectations by providing safe, efficient, accurate and pleasant food service. You will also provide guidance and coaching to Team Members, ensuring the store runs smoothly. This role offers a fast track to store leadership — coaching, supervising, and leading the kitchen team, often on behalf of the Store Leader.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority for Team Members, customers, and products.
• Provide excellent food service and coaching, exceeding customer and Team Member expectations.
• Foster a friendly, warm culture with a smile for all Team Members and customers.
• Assist management in achieving sales and profit goals by encouraging sampling and managing shrink.
• Monitor quality control in the kitchen and during ordering of food and supplies.
• Ensure all Team Members are cross-trained and flexible in scheduling.
• Be adaptable to lead in the Kitchen or step in as a GoGetter as needed.
• Keep restrooms clean and well-stocked.
• Monitor competitor fuel pricing and collaborate to stay competitive.
• Address equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure Team Members have access to proper training and resources.
• Train and lead hourly Team Members and peer Leads when assigned.
• Supervise product merchandising, safety audits, and food safety certifications.
• Set and promote sales and performance goals, providing the tools for success.
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, and plan strategically.
• Promote an inclusive and diverse environment where every Team Member's voice is heard.

Starting Rate of Pay: $19.00
