Active Day in Indianapolis is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for our members and staff.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, sanitizing areas, removing trash, inspecting rooms for safety, assisting the Kitchen Manager with dishwashing and light food preparation, and following health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Sanitize member areas such as tables, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Remove trash from the facility daily.
• Inspect all rooms to ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist the Kitchen Manager with dishwashing and light food preparation as needed to support meal service.
• Properly handle and protect equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety, as well as company policies.
• Complete other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
