Boundary County is seeking a Kitchen Aide to assist the cook with meal prep, service, and facility upkeep in a Residential Care/Assisted Living setting. This role supports residents and guests, handles safety drills, and responds to hazards and emergencies.
Responsibilities include setting tables, delivering meals, cleaning, and maintaining records per dietary and facility policies. Strong English communication and compliance with health regulations are required.
Assists the cook with meal preparation, meal service, cleaning, and upkeep of the kitchen and dining room for residents and guests in a Residential Care/Assistant Living Facility. Responds appropriately to safety hazards, fire/drills and other emergency situations.
Ability to read and write in English. Follow direction of supervisors. Ability to communicate with residents, visitors, coworkers and supervisors. Must pass criminal history background check, including fingerprinting and pass pre-employment and random drug screening and meet all requirements outlined in the Rules for Licensed Residential and Assisted Living Facilities in Idaho. Must acquire and maintain a food handlers' card.
Stand or walk up to eight hours a day. Sit up to three hours a day. Occasionally lift or carry up to twenty pounds. Frequently kneel, bend, and reach. Exposure to cleaning products, fumes, blood and body fluids.
