Join the team making it happen! Serving up the #1 college food in Iowa, UNI Dining Services has two Kitchen Helper II positions open at the Piazza in Redeker Center.
Job Description: Under general supervision, directs and assists in sanitizing dishware and maintaining sanitary conditions in the dish room and dining areas; directs and assists in student staff to assure work areas are covered and assignments are completed; and checks and is responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
One year experience as a Kitchen Helper I, or outside experience comparable thereto. We are seeking skilled, organized and hard working team oriented individuals who have the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment. In addition, applicants must have good communication skills and positive attitudes.

Service Schedule: 9-months; schedule follows the academic year from August to May with opportunity to work additional hours during the summer.
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
or Sunday (10:30 am to 7:30 pm), Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Shift: First Shift
Pay Grade: 4 (advanced start step of 3)
Starting Hourly Rate: $17.92
