Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Kitchen Helper for the Belle Fourche area to support meal service in a school setting. You’ll assist with prep, serving, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized, following recipes and safety guidelines.

This active, team-focused position emphasizes reliable daily collaboration, meal service during school hours, and learning through hands-on tasks alongside experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and convert quantities for large batches.
• Dependability, integrity, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help prep and serve menu items, keep your station stocked, and follow serving-size and special-diet guidelines.
• Follow simple recipes like fruit and veggie bars or baked goods while keeping kitchen, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized using FIFO.
• Maintain food safety and compliance: follow food-safety steps, complete basic logs, assist with production records and help maintain a safe workspace.
• Communicate supply needs, feedback, and updates to your team and supervisors.
• Stock and serve items during meal service and help with prep lists and freezer pulls.
• Jump in where needed from helping teammates, training new team members and assisting when someone is out.

Kitchen Helper – Lunchtime Solutions

Location: On-site at Belle Fourche School District

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 10am-2pm OR 7:30am-1:30pm

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team‑focused Kitchen Helper to join our school food service program. In this role you’ll keep meal service running smoothly by helping prep simple menu items, serving students, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. It’s an active, team‑focused role that makes a real impact on students’ day.
