Position Summary

The Kitchen Hand is responsible for assisting the culinary team and waitstaff in delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Sanitize work areas before, during, and at the end of the shift.
• Ensure all equipment is clean.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, placing them in assigned storage areas in an organized and orderly manner.
• May occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats
• Complete daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance of fryers, etc.
• Maintaining specific side-work and ensuring the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the Restaurant.
• Stocking/restocking items on the line according to specifications.
• Reporting to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintaining well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.
• Janitorial duties as assigned.
• Performing other duties as directed.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Ability to work independently, in a team environment, and with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Be willing to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Ability to communicate with grill cooks/servers
