Job summary

FCC Behavioral Health seeks a Food Service Associate to oversee daily kitchen operations at West Plains Turning Leaf. You will maintain cleanliness, handle inventory, and coordinate weekly food orders while ensuring safety and health standards.

Key duties include following health codes, preparing meals per dietitian-approved menus, and monitoring food quality, portions, and temperatures. You’ll work with staff to maintain a sanitary, efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (1) year work experience in food production or equivalent.
• Possession of, or capable of acquiring, a Food Handler's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Understands and complies with health codes to ensure safety of staff and served persons.
• Ensure kitchen, preparation/serving, dining, and storage areas are clean and sanitary.
• Plan, prepare, and assemble portions in accordance with the dietitian approved menu.
• Prepare food items ensuring quality, portion control, flavor, and temperature.
• Transport food as necessary and manage inventory weekly.
• Submit weekly food and supply orders for review, monitor costs.
