Midway Staffing is seeking a Kitchen/Food Prep: Quality Control Associate for the 2nd shift in Brooklyn, NY. Bilingual Spanish/English required. Pay rate is $19.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include following GMPs, performing basic quality checks (visual inspection, portion weight, temperature), and maintaining labeling accuracy while supporting shift transitions. The role requires standing in a fast-paced kitchen, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Duties

• Ability to follow food safety procedures and SOPs
• Comfort conducting basic quality checks (visual inspection, portion weight, temperature)

• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a production environment
• Strong attention to detail when labeling and verifying product accuracy
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including supporting shift transitions

Requirements

• Uniform: Black shirt and black pants, non-slip close toe shoes
• Reliable and punctual
• Must Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Follow all Food Safety and Sanitation guidelines
• Must be able to work weekends
