Cafe Zupas is hiring Kitchen Team Members in Vernon Hills, IL. A defined career path allows you to pursue promotions and raises, with a culture that supports growth and teamwork.

Shifts are daytime with no Sundays, early mornings, or late nights, and include a free house-made meal with every shift. You’ll work in a modern, energetic kitchen making fresh, high-quality foods on-site.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work daytime shifts between 8am–4pm.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow recipes and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh produce for menu items.
• Cook house-made soups, spreads, and dressings daily.
• Organize and maintain a clean lobby and dining area.
• Operate and maintain the dishwashing area.
• Be cooperative and respectful with teammates.

Life as a Kitchen Team Member (soup cook, prep cook, dish, lobby):

Is it a fit? We’re looking for a team member that is:

• Available to work at least three to five shifts a week
• Kitchen experience preferred; not required

• Able to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• A quick learner in a fast-paced environment
