Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Boise, Idaho seeks a Kitchen Fire Suppression System Technician to install, inspect and repair commercial kitchen systems. You will ensure NFPA code compliance and reliability while working with leading manufacturers like Ansul, Amerex, Pyro-Chem, and Range Guard.

You will troubleshoot, document, and communicate with clients in a professional manner, with heavy travel requirements and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of Fire Life Safety industry experience.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot defective components and replace as needed.
• Document work orders and communicate with customers professionally.
• Travel up to 90% of the time and maintain company safety policies.
