Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker for the HCA Florida Capital Hospital site in Tallahassee. Full-time, with varying days and hours; pay starts at $15.50 per hour. The role supports kitchen and facility operations, focusing on cleanliness and sanitation across food production and service areas.

You will operate dishwashing, sanitize surfaces, restock supplies, and assist with setup/breakdown tasks as needed. The position requires reliability and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Re-stock supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
