Sodexo is seeking a part-time Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations at LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL. The role involves maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, washing dishes, taking out trash, and restocking supplies. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with no prior work experience necessary, and offers a flexible, open-shift schedule with opportunities for

Competenze

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Mansioni

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or other mobility may be required.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, possibly over 8 hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally 50 pounds.
• Attends work and is on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.
