Job description

HOODZ is seeking a mature, accountable individual to lead a kitchen exhaust cleaning team. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

HOODZ is a Louisiana-owned kitchen exhaust cleaning company (Hood Cleaners). We are the largest and fastest-growing kitchen exhaust cleaning company in Louisiana. Our mission is to keep restaurants and industrial kitchens safe from fire.

Annually, 10,000 commercial and industrial kitchens in the U.S. catch fire. Our technicians are trained to clean in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association Code 96 (NFPA 96). We provide all necessary training.

Starting pay is $41,600, plus commissions and quarterly and annual sales bonuses. Benefits include 3 days PTO after 90 days and 5 days after 1 year.

The position includes a service vehicle, tools, and supplies. HOODZ provides a storage building for additional tools, chemicals, and supplies.

This role offers independence, working Sunday through Thursday nights when restaurants are closed. The successful candidate will be responsible for keys and codes to area restaurants. Scheduling and jobs are provided for the Lead Technician. The individual may provide their own spray technician or have one provided.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license that meets our insurance company's DMV requirements, the ability to lift 50 lbs., and safely climb ladders. The job involves cleaning kitchen exhaust systems from the exhaust fan to the filters above kitchen appliances.
