Job summary

Cardinal Senior Living's Village of Heather Hills in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to support a busy kitchen, maintain cleanliness, and uphold health standards.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, follow safety protocols, and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: basic reading ability to understand instructions and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds safely.
• Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to maintain consistent kitchen operations.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure items are clean and sanitized.
• Sort and organize clean dishes and kitchen tools for easy access by kitchen and service staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and counters, to comply with health and safety standards.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
