Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to wash dishes and maintain a clean kitchen area. Duties include sanitizing wares, keeping floors and shelves clean, and assisting with deliveries and stocking. Excellent customer service and teamwork are required; ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

The wage range is $19.00-$25.40 per hour, commensurate with experience. Previous retail experience is not required.

Qualifications

• No specific education required for entry-level role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Keeps floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves clean in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries and proper storage/rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides courteous customer service and models suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Maintains proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising of products.
• Follows sanitation, safety, and Weights & Measures procedures.
• Keeps working and shopping areas clean and equipment safe; reports hazards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accurate signage and pricing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or leadership.
