Job summary

CCS Building Group is seeking a cabinetry designer to join our design team. You will design kitchen plans, verify spaces, prepare drawings and quotes, and coordinate with project managers and the interior design team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in cabinetry design, knowledge of frameless cabinet lines, and proficiency with ProKitchen or AutoCAD. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as is experience with cabinetry suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3 years in cabinetry design required.
• 2020 Kitchen Design required.
• Frameless Cabinets knowledge important.
• ProKitchen, or AutoCAD proficiency is a plus. Willingness to learn new software as the industry evolves.
• Proven skills and successes related to design, construction, leadership, and sales.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Face to face experience in negotiating and problem solving with clients.
• Ability to establish early rapport and trust with new prospects.
• Experience managing orders and accounts with cabinetry manufacturers.
• Outgoing and motivating personality.
• Experienced in Excel and Word
• A college degree is a plus but not required.
• Interior or architectural design experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design kitchen plans and manage orders.
• Provide updates to project managers and interior design team on current orders.
• Measure spaces to verify dimensions before cabinetry orders.
• Prepare drawings and cost quotes for delivery to customer.
• Collaborate with PMs and interior designers.
• Assist with cabinetry material specifications.
• Work under the direction of PM or interior designer.
