Job summary

Stonewall Kitchen in York, ME seeks a Part-time Demo Kitchen Associate to bring our products to life through cooking demonstrations, samples, and exceptional guest service. You will prepare recipes, engage guests, and help turn tastings into sales in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, are preferred.
• Previous retail, sales, food service, cooking, or demonstration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes and product samples for guests during daily cooking demonstrations.
• Engage with guests while cooking, sharing recipe ideas and product information.
• Help drive product sales by creating an engaging demo experience.
• Plan grocery needs and shop for fresh ingredients for daily demonstrations.
• Monitor ingredient and product costs to support profitability.
• Follow ServSafe and all food safety requirements.
• Maintain recipe cards and demo materials.
• Create attractive product displays and manage inventory needs.
• Assist guests on the sales floor and at registers as needed.
• Support store events and promotions.
• Attend meetings or trainings as needed.
