Job summary

Atomic Wings Columbus is hiring team members for a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will prepare wings, tenders, fries, and sandwiches, reading orders accurately and delivering quick service.

The role requires safe fryer operation, adherence to recipes and food safety practices, and a readiness to stay organized and efficient during busy shifts. We offer training, flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time opportunities, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or cooking setting preferred but not required.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to follow recipes, instructions and food safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties.
• Comfortable working around fryers and hot kitchen equipment.
• Food Handler Certification required or obtained after hiring.

• Sauce, season, and package food accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures.
• Restock food, packaging, sauces, and supplies.
• Immediately report equipment or sanitation concerns to the manager on duty.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Complete closing duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wings, tenders, fries, sandwiches, and other menu items according to Atomic Wings standards.
• Read order tickets accurately and prepare orders quickly.
• Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Follow proper cooking times, temperatures, portion sizes, and recipes.
• Sauce, season, and package food accurately.
• Make sure every order is fresh, complete, and prepared correctly.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift.
• Clean fryers, equipment, prep areas, floors, and kitchen surfaces as required.
• Filter and maintain fryer oil according to company procedures and safety standards.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and required safety equipment.
• Restock food, packaging, sauces, and other kitchen supplies.
• Immediately report equipment, food safety, or sanitation concerns to the manager on duty.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Complete closing duties as assigned.
