Job summary

soar-restaurants-sonic is seeking a Cook to cook, prepare and package food products, reporting to the Manager on Duty (MOD). This nonexempt role requires irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will operate multiple stations, follow procedures, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation. The position emphasizes basic math/reading, effective communication, and reliability in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of restaurant or retail operations
• Basic math and reading skills are required
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Multitasking across stations and duties

Responsibilities

• Cook, prepare, and package food product to standards
• Operate grill, prep, dresser and other stations as assigned
• Follow all company policies and operational standards
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties per standards
• Maintain regular attendance
• Report customer or employee complaints to MOD
• Move and stock food up to 50 pounds
• Perform other duties as assigned
