Job summary

Triple Shift Entertainment is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in Pickerington, Ohio. You will follow recipes, prepare garnishes, and work with wait staff to deliver visually appealing meals while upholding our core values: Spirit, Courage, Respect, Own It, and Excellence.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of in-house restaurant experience, be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate strong time management, communication, and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years’ experience or training in-house at a similar restaurant will show Excellence.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions using Spirit

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Present dishes with garnishes for attractive presentation.
• Occasionally serve food.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food safely.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Monitor station inventory levels.
• Use Respect when accommodating guests’ special requests.
• Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.
• Use Spirit to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Own It by using your problem solving and organizational skills.
• Able to stand and exert fast paced movement for entire shift.
• Transport up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Show Respect to the team with your ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, weather conditions, as needed
• Climb, stretch and reach as needed for cleaning purposes.
