Job summary

Legends Global is hiring a Kitchen Cook for the main kitchen and concessions. The role prepares food items for events and maintains kitchen cleanliness and equipment.

You will design buffet presentations and work flexible hours during events, including day, evening, weekends, and holidays. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in banquet food preparation, with a food handler permit or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1 year banquet facility experience preferred.
• Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain one upon hire.
• Attend all Legends Global Alcohol and Policy Training Classes.

Summary Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Kitchen Cook for Legends Global. This position is in the main kitchen and in concessions and is responsible for preparing food items for the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises temporary labor.
• Fulfills the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO).
• Prepare recipes as directed.
• Maintains all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
• Designs buffet food presentations.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or GED certificate 1 year experience in a banquet facility preparing meals for large events.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $17.75
