Job summary

Telos Residential Treatment, LLC is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant in Orem, Utah. You will support resident meals under direction of the Kitchen Director, ensuring nutritious, safe, and timely service for up to 100 staff and students.

Responsibilities include safe-food handling, accommodating dietary needs, and maintaining a clean work area. The role requires a food-handler permit, direct care training, and a commitment to Telos' mission and standards.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safe-food handling and storage procedures
• Provides special dietary needs as ordered by the MD, dietician, and nursing director
• Offers students a variety and adequate amount of food to meet their dietary needs
• Serves meals in a timely manner adhering to the Telos schedule
• Helps to prepare extra-large meals for Family Days five times per year
• Ability to maintain a clean work environment
• Completes other assignments as given by supervisor

Job Description: Kitchen Assistant

Reports To: Kitchen Director

Time Commitment: Monday- Friday, 1- 6 pm

Status: Part-Time

Mission: Provide nutritious, safe, and consistent meals that support resident health, satisfaction, regulation, and daily structure.

The Telos cook provides well-balanced, healthy meals as directed by the dietician and the nursing

director.

The weekday cook is responsible for providing satisfying, healthy meals for up to 100 students

and staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to safe-food handling and storage procedures
• Provides special dietary needs as ordered by the MD, dietician, and nursing director
• Offers students a variety and adequate amount of food to meet their dietary needs
• Serves meals in a timely manner adhering to the Telos schedule
