Job summary

Drury Inn & Suites in Coralville, IA is hiring for a team-oriented hotel services role. You will help run the 5:30 p.m. Kickback, prepare and serve light items, and keep the lobby and dining area clean and welcoming.

You’ll ensure food safety, stock levels, and a high standard of hospitality across shifts. The ideal candidate communicates well in English, enjoys interacting with guests, and brings a friendly, can-do spirit to a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hotel accommodations and services.
• Ability to inventory food items and calculate order levels.
• Warm, friendly manner when communicating with guests.
• Ability to understand and follow English written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and cleanup.
• Keep kitchen and lobby area clean and organized.
• Ensure food safety standards and stock levels are maintained.
• Demonstrate high integrity, service and hospitality to guests and coworkers.
• Answer guests' questions using knowledge of the hotel and local events.
• Provide courteous, friendly service with a +1 Service attitude.

Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback "happy hour" ... well, happy for our guests.

Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.

• Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and with clean-up.
• See to it that the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.
• Ensure that food safety standards are met and that supplies are fully stocked at appropriate levels.
• Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers.
• Answer guest's questions using your knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, guest service with a +1 Service attitude.
