Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required.
Experience with quantity food preparation preferred.
Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes.
Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements.
Food Service Sanitation Certificate a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform kitchen cleaning and storage activities including dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning.
Storage and rotation of food and supplies in accordance with sanitation standards.
Handle all foods safely and comply with federal, state and local regulations.
Assist in maintaining clean and orderly dining service areas as required.
