Community Action Partnership of Dickinson is hiring a Kitchen/Classroom Assistant to support the Head Start/Early Head Start program by preparing and serving meals and maintaining kitchen standards. The part-time position requires a High School Diploma, experience in food preparation, and a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities include purchasing foods, ensuring health standards, and liaising with various stakeholders. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, from August through May, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the community's nutritional needs.

Assists with the purchasing and preparing of foods for the Head Start/Early Head Start program. Assists with meeting the nutritional component of the Head Start/Early Head Start program.

Occasionally: Works outdoors, cold and hot environment, alone, working irregular hours and off shift/rotating schedule, works with irritant chemicals, sprays, mists, vapors, fumes, uses gloves or protective equipment, in emergency situations. Position may require the need to work non-traditional work hours as assigned by Program Director.
