Role Description The Kitchen Cabinetry Designer & Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Solana Beach, CA. This role involves designing custom kitchen and interior cabinetry layouts, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with European suppliers and local installers to ensure accurate production and installation. The individual will manage day-to-day studio operations, including project scheduling, order tracking, inventory oversight, and workflow optimization. Responsibilities also include meeting with clients, understanding their requirements, presenting design options, and providing ongoing communication and support throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires close collaboration with internal team members and external partners to maintain high standards of quality, design consistency, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and installation teams.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety practices relevant to cabinetry materials, finishes, and on-site installation environments.
• Proficiency with kitchen and interior design software (Sketchup), and the ability to read and create technical drawings.
• Background in kitchen design, interior design, architecture, or a related field; experience with European cabinetry systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and operations management skills, including project coordination, scheduling, and vendor management.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centered solutions.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in kitchen cabinetry design and manufacturing.
