Job summary

W3Global in North Carolina is seeking a kitchen and bath designer for the Eastern NC region to help customers design the kitchen of their dreams. This in-person role rewards performance with salary-based pay plus commission and requires knowledge of cabinet styles, wood species, finishes, and hardware.

You will measure jobs on-site or from blueprints to quote customers, develop functional designs within budget, and pursue sales opportunities by visiting job sites and calling on prospects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cabinet design experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to read blueprints and quote measurements.

My client is a local, family owned business based right outside of Farmville, NC. We have served our surrounding communities since 2002 and have experienced tremendous growth over the years. We are looking for a kitchen and bath designer for Eastern NC region, that can assist customers in designing the kitchen of their dreams.

What We're Looking For

• Someone who will provide customer service and is knowledgeable in cabinet styles, wood species, stain colors, and hardware choices
• Work with the customer to develop a design that meets their needs and is most functional while considering their budget
• Be able to measure the job by onsite visit and/or reading blue prints to quote customers
• Will be responsible for finding sales opportunities, making phone calls, visiting job sites and assisting customers in timely and efficient manner
• Must be an honest and professional individual
• Will be salary based plus commission

Qualifications Include

• Working knowledge of 20/20 and Microsoft office programs
• Ability to read blueprints
• Demonstrated ability to design and sell to contractors and homeowners
• Preferred minimum of 2 years experience in cabinet design
• Ability to multitask by being able to stay organized and manage projects simultaneously while being accurate and detail oriented
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated and will stay on task and complete projects in timely manner
