Job summary

Carter Kitchen & Bath, part of Carter Lumber, is seeking a Kitchen Design and Sales Representative. You will design interiors (kitchens, baths, offices, mudrooms, bars, etc.) and manage projects from measurement to delivery, collaborating with builders, contractors, and homeowners to secure the final sale.

This role requires proven design talent, strong relationship-building, and excellent communication. Salary plus commission offers unlimited earning potential and growth through our symposiums

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to design and sell to contractors and homeowners.
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinetry, materials, finishes, detailing, and trends.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and layouts.
• Proficient with 20/20 and MS Office programs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs.
• Strong math skills for quoting.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design interior spaces (kitchens, bathrooms, offices, mudrooms, bars, etc.) for new construction and remodeling.
• Take measurements on job sites and translate them into accurate plans and quotes.
• Secure final sale by presenting compelling designs and proposals to contractors and homeowners.
• Collaborate with builders, contractors, and homeowners to meet customer wants and needs.

Description

As a Kitchen Design and Sales Representative, you will be responsible for new construction and remodeling projects from measurement to delivery. You will work directly with builders, contractors, and homeowners to design interior spaces (kitchens, bathrooms, offices, mudrooms, bars, etc.). This will entail finding sales opportunities, job site measurement, designing, and securing the final sale. In addition to having a design background, the following are necessary to succeed: proven sales strategies, strong relationship‑building skills, prompt follow‑through with commitments, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements
