Job description

Job Title: Kitchen Associate/Driver

Join Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services, Inc. as a Kitchen Associate/Driver. This part-time role offers daylight hours, off weekends and holidays, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with inventory management, maintenance checks, and minor repairs on kitchen equipment.
  • Unload trucks containing kitchen supplies and assemble materials for daily meal prep and delivery.
  • Deliver food and supplies using an agency vehicle.
  • Maintain inventory records, kitchen cleanliness, and storage areas.
  • Perform general vehicle maintenance checks and ensure safety.
  • Maintain the appearance of buildings and grounds; be available as a substitute driver when necessary.
  • Follow all policies, laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stock shelves up to six feet high.
  • Ability to ascend/descend a step ladder occasionally.
  • Must successfully obtain Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
  • Must not be excluded from federal health care programs.
