Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings is seeking a Kitchen Associate to support production and packaging in a food-grade environment. You will prepare ingredients, operate kitchen machinery, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include weight/measure ingredients, packaging finished goods, and maintaining sanitation. Must be 21+, high school or GED, with 6 months to 1 year in a kitchen or food setting, and ability to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in a kitchen, food production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate.

• Ingredient Preparation – Accurately weight and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• Production – Operate kitchen equipment and machinery to produce edible and ingestible products.
• Packaging – Package and label finished products in compliance with regulatory and brand standards.
• Safety Compliance – Wear appropriate PPE for all assigned tasks.
• Demolding – Remove cured products from molds following production.
• Inventory Support – Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Sanitation – Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment.
• Documentation – Complete batch records and daily production tracking sheets accurately.
• Quality Control – Inspect products and reject any that do not meet quality standards.
• Inventory Counting – Count and record finished products and prepped materials.

Job Summary

The Kitchen Associate reports directly to the Kitchen Lead and is responsible for the production and packaging of edible and ingestible products. The role involves preparing ingredients, operating machinery and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards in a food-grade environment.

Schedule

Schedule: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday

Pay

Pay: $19.58/hour

Essential Job Functions

• Ingredient Preparation – Accurately weight and measure ingredients according to recipes.
